Patch 26.7 for League of Legends is here to tidy up some of the stranger outcomes from recent updates, patch a nasty Sylas-Shyvana interaction, and give supports more freedom to collect minion gold. Riot says more Shyvana work is coming, but this patch ships a targeted change that already looks like it will complicate balancing.

What the devs said

Riot developer notes indicate that larger Shyvana changes are still in the works and not finalized. For now, this patch includes a mechanical tweak to how Shyvana’s Ultimate Haste works and a fix for the Sylas interaction.

Champion buffs

Cassiopeia

  • Base Mana: 450 to 480
  • E Bonus Magic Damage: 20/43/66/89/112 to 20/45/70/95/120

Cassiopeia is famously thirsty for mana. The extra 30 base mana plus slightly higher E damage should let her squeeze in one more Twin Fang during fights, which can make the difference between a kill and watching someone walk away.

Kalista

  • E AD scaling on bonus damage per additional stack: (+20/25/30/35/40% AD) to (+20/27.5/35/42.5/50% AD)

Kalista has been out of favor in pro play, so the buff is tuned for solo queue. It is modest, but it helps her signature stacking playstyle hit a bit harder.

Rell

  • E Movement Speed: 3s of 10%, increased to 25% while facing ally or visible enemy to 3s of 15%, increased to 30%
  • R Damage: 120 / 200 / 380 (+110% AP) to 150 / 250 / 250 (+110% AP)

Rell and Kalista are often lane partners, and both getting buffs at the same time could push that duo back into relevance. Rell gets a mobility increase and a stronger initial ultimate hit.

Champion nerfs

Graves

  • Base AD: 68 to 66

Small numbers, but this affects Graves’ early jungle clear and trading power. Expect slightly slower clears and maybe one extra hit needed on camp clears.

Karma

  • R + E Shield (primary / secondary target): 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 (+45% AP) to 45 / 85 / 125 / 165 (+45% AP)

The shield is being trimmed so Karma can remain lane-strong while being a bit less dominant at saving allies in chaotic fights.

Nami

  • W Bounce Modifier: -10% (+10% per 100 AP) to -20% (+15% per 100 AP)

This change mainly hits early-game AP Nami builds. The breakpoint is around 200 AP, so the impact scales with how much AP she stacks.

Ornn

  • Brittle Trigger Damage: 10-18% target max HP (levels 1-18) to 9-16% target max HP (levels 1-18)

If you optimize Ornn’s Brittle procs, you will feel this. For casual players it will be less obvious, but the peak execution damage is reduced.

Singed

  • R Bonus Stats: 25 / 60 / 95 to 25 / 55 / 85

Singed’s ultimate gives a lot of temporary stats. This change trims those numbers to reduce some of his annoyance and tankiness during the ultimate.

Veigar

  • R Cooldown: 100 / 80 / 60s to 120 / 90 / 60s

Veigar in bot lane loses some ultimate uptime. That reduces his repeat all-in frequency in duo lanes and slightly lowers his midlane threat as well.

Champion adjustments

Shyvana

  • Ultimate Haste interaction: Previously provided passive 0.015 fury generation per second. Now Ultimate Haste amplifies all fury generation by 1% per 1 Ultimate Haste.

Shyvana remains tricky to balance. This change reworks how Ultimate Haste interacts with fury generation. It also fixes an interaction that allowed Sylas to steal Shyvana’s ultimate and deal very high damage. Riot says more comprehensive changes to Shyvana are coming in later patches.

System adjustments

Support farming penalty

  • Removed

The support farming penalty that punished supports for taking minion gold has been removed. This gives supports more freedom to farm while their ADC is dead or recalling. It could also enable more selfish lane behavior, so expect mixed outcomes depending on player conduct.

Overall: small to medium changes across the roster, a mechanical tweak and bug fix for Shyvana, and a system change aimed at making support life less stingy. More Shyvana tuning is still on the way, so consider this patch a step rather than the final chapter.
