Prey progression got a boost
Blizzard quietly tuned the Prey system in World of Warcraft to make moving up Journey ranks less of a grind. The studio increased the amount of journey progress points you earn, with a particular focus on the first four weekly Prey hunts.
This change is meant to respond to player feedback about how long it took to reach Journey Rank 4, which is needed to unlock the final story quests from Astalor Bloodsworn and to access Nightmare Mode this week.
What this means for players
- Faster progression: Early weekly Prey hunts now give more Journey progress points.
- Easier access: Hitting Journey Rank 4 should be simpler, so you can see the final story content sooner.
- Nightmare Mode: Players aiming for the Nightmare content should find the path a bit less painful this week.
