Fans of One Piece may soon be heading to Popeyes for a very specific kind of treasure: fried chicken, lemonades, and a little anime branding on the side. The company has not officially announced the promotion yet, which has done absolutely nothing to stop employees and social media users from sharing details early.

Packaging already turned up online

A TikTok from user 024nunya420 is circulating widely after showing what appears to be the first look at the meal’s box. The packaging features illustrations of Luffy and Chopper, along with the Straw Hat Jolly Roger. Printed on top is a slogan that reads, "Meat now! Adventure later!"

So yes, the branding is leaning all the way in.

The rumored meal lineup

More details came from a Reddit post dated March 29, where a user claiming to be a Popeyes General Manager said the collaboration would begin on Monday, April 13.

According to that post, the meal is called the "Luffy Bento Bundle" and includes:

  • a two-piece meal
  • a biscuit
  • mac and cheese
  • a strawberry cupcake
  • Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade

That claim was later backed up by another TikTok, this one from officialazucena, who identified as a Popeyes employee. The video showed what looked like an internal email with photos of the promotion and the contents of the meal.

What the drinks and dessert look like

The video offered a first look at the purple Gum-Gum Fruit Lemonade, served in a cup with white swirl patterns that echo the fruit tied to the anime’s stretchy hero. According to the menu information shown, the drink is flavored with pineapple, blue raspberry, and orange.

The cupcake, meanwhile, is topped with pink strawberry icing and white sprinkles. A straightforward dessert, which is probably as close as fast food gets to subtlety.

The internal email also confirmed the reported launch date of April 13 and listed an end date of May 10, 2026.

What is still unclear

At this point, there is no official word from Popeyes on whether the promotion will be nationwide or limited to select participating locations. There also does not appear to be a special collectible item for One Piece Card Game players.

The leak arrives shortly after another major fast-food crossover, with the KPop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X and Saja Boys McDonald’s meals launching earlier this month.
