So you woke up as a Ditto pretending to be a person. Cute. In Pokemon Pokopia your character is basically a Ditto that took a wrong turn at a lab and now gets to rock human clothes. The good news: you can change that look whenever you want. The better news: it does not require a soul-searching montage, just a mirror.
How to change your appearance
To remodel your Ditto-turned-human, find a mirror and interact with it. The appearance menu you get is the same one from the game's opening, meaning you can redo your whole vibe without restarting your life. Here’s what you can tweak:
- Face
- Hairstyle
- Hair color
- Complete outfits
- Tops
- Pants
- Headwear
- Bags
- Shoes
If you want even more customization options, keep an eye out for human relics while exploring the world. Collect enough of those and your wardrobe gains bonus items so you can stop wearing the same Ditto cardigan forever.
Where to find a mirror
You have two main options: craft your own Wall Mirror or use one already sitting out in the world.
Wall Mirror (craftable)
Want to craft it and call it yours? Unlock the Wall Mirror by raising Comfort Level 6 in the Withering Wasteland. Remember two things: it is a wall decoration, so you cannot place it in a grass hut, and crafting it requires 1 Glass. If you have a proper house, congratulations, you now also have a dressing room.
Large Mirror (found)
Too impatient to grind Comfort levels? The Large Mirror can spawn near the Drilbur habitat. It may also show up in the daily shop when you interact with the PC, so check the shop like it’s a vending machine for your identity.
Quick tips
- Changing your look via a mirror does not alter your Ditto-ness. You are still you, but now you look better.
- Explore different zones to find relics and unique clothing pieces.
- If you build a house early, prioritize a Wall Mirror so you can switch outfits without trekking to the nearest Drilbur hangout.
Pokemon Pokopia launched on March 5, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2. The game is a life simulation developed by Koei Tecmo and Game Freak, and published by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. It is rated Everyone and includes online interactions and optional in-game purchases.
Now go look in a mirror and pick a look that says "biome-friendly explorer" or "mysterious shapeshifter who does laundry." Both are valid aesthetics.
