Solo access arrives

Players who wanted to see the latest raid in World of Warcraft: Midnight without assembling a full group can now do so. On Tuesday, Blizzard unlocked March on Quel’Danas for both the raid finder and story mode, giving solo-friendly options to anyone who wants in without the usual social logistics that somehow always become a second job.

The raid is the newest of the three endgame raids released with the expansion, and its arrival in these more accessible modes marks the end of the initial rollout of Midnight raid content. In other words, the opening phase of the expansion’s endgame plan is now complete.

Blizzard offers a story refresher

Alongside the raid access, Blizzard also posted a lore recap explaining how the world has changed through the events of the expansion. That should help players who have lost the thread of the story and would like to catch up without committing to a long video lecture from someone with a microphone, a strong opinion, and far too much free time.

For anyone who just wants the short version, Blizzard has done the catching-up work. For everyone else, there is always the 90-minute explanation waiting in the wings.
