Mark Wahlberg wakes up at 4am most days to train, and now he wants to know if popular digital creators can handle the same routine. He filmed a new YouTube series in his home gym that pairs early-morning workouts with honest conversations about fitness and life.
How Wahlberg got here
Wahlberg has been open about his extreme morning schedule for years. In one profile he said, "Breakfast is at 3:45am. By 4 I’m training, 5am is prayers, and I’m golfing at 6. Thursdays are for recovery, and Sunday is the Lord’s Day. I thrive on the grind." That habit is the backbone of this show.
What the show is
The series is called Mark Wahlberg's 4am Club Challenge. It runs for ten episodes and brings a different creator into Wahlberg’s home gym each episode. The format is simple: you train with Mark, you talk, and you see who lasts.
Season 1 guests
- Brent Rivera
- The Stokes Twins
- Druski
- Adam W
- Jesse James West
- Hannah Stocking
- Ben Azelart
- Airrack
- Dhar Mann
- Pierson
Wahlberg sums it up plainly: "I wake up every day at 4am to train. Now I’m inviting top creators into my home gym to see if they can keep up. We train, we talk, we learn a few things about each other, and we find out who’s actually built for it. Will they keep up or tap out?"
What the trailer shows
The trailer mixes serious sweat with lighter moments. You see Wahlberg doing impressions, creators asking why anyone needs to train so early, people struggling with unfamiliar gym equipment, someone requesting Fruit Loops, a participant getting sick, and a few guests calling Wahlberg a maniac. The tone is competitive but not staged.
Behind the scenes
The show is produced by Wahlberg’s company Unrealistic Ideas. The company president said the goal was to reveal different sides of both Wahlberg and the creators. "The workouts are real, the conversations are real, and the personalities really come through. It’s competitive, it’s funny, and it’s ultimately about the mindset it takes to succeed," the president explained.
The first episode, featuring Brent Rivera, was scheduled to drop on March 27 at 7am PT / 10am ET.
