Season 7 of Marvel Rivals landed on March 20 and brought the new Strategist hero White Fox plus a big ultimate charge rate change across the roster. A week in, the developers shipped a hotfix on March 26 to tidy up some problem spots.
Quick overview of the March 26 adjustments
The patch targets three versions of Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone with nerfs, and gives White Fox several user-friendly updates and survivability changes that probably should have been in her launch kit.
Deadpool - the parkour party gets a leash
Wade was doing too many gymnastics and breaking ideal match flow. The fix is small but aimed at stopping extreme input combos that let players chain explosive bursts.
- Mobility - Slight reduction to Deadpool's mobility to limit high-speed burst combos.
- Bunny Bounce / Bunny Hop / Healing Hop - After a successful refresh these abilities now have a 0.5 second cooldown. Because this cooldown is very short it will not show on the ability icon.
- Note: The change is meant to curb rapid cycles like Kick@$$ Katanas - Hazardous Hijinks - Bunny Hop while leaving normal play mostly unaffected.
Elsa Bloodstone - durability trimmed
Elsa loses a bit of base health so she has to lean more on movement and damage rather than soaking hits.
- Base health reduced from 275 to 250.
White Fox - quality of life and healing adjustments
Ami Han got a round of changes that smooth her play and tweak how her healing and ultimate work.
- Spirit Tail - Upon respawn or exiting Kumiho Unleashed (ultimate) White Fox now gains full stacks of Spirit Tail energy.
- Spectral Surge - Casting this ability now heals White Fox for 50.
- Spirit Sanctuary - One-time healing reduced from 70 to 50.
- Spirit Sanctuary new effect - While the shield is active it grants 20 health per second healing over time to allies inside the shield, including White Fox.
- Blessed by the Nine during Kumiho Unleashed - Casting this no longer consumes White Fox's health, but the ability now has a 2 second cooldown.
These changes are focused on balance and smoother gameplay rather than big meta shifts. Expect slightly slower Deadpool bursts, a squishier Elsa, and a more consistent White Fox who heals and returns to fights with more resources.
