When and where is Fury vs Makhmudov?
Tyson Fury is heading back into the ring again, because apparently retirement is more of a suggestion at this point. The former two-time heavyweight champion will face Arslanbek Makhmudov on Saturday 11 April at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
It will be Fury’s first fight since December 2024, when Oleksandr Usyk outpointed him for the second time in eight months. Usyk handed the Briton the first defeats of his professional career and still holds the unified heavyweight belts, which means Fury’s long-running interest in a trilogy fight remains very much alive, at least in theory.
Before any of that can happen, Fury has to get past Makhmudov, who brings a record of 21-2 with 19 knockouts.
Expected start time
The exact schedule has not been confirmed, but the event is expected to follow this rough timing:
- Main card starts: 7pm BST, 11am PT, 1pm CT, 2pm ET
- Main event ring walks: 10pm BST, 2pm PT, 4pm CT, 5pm ET
How can I watch it?
The card will stream live worldwide on Netflix. Existing subscribers will be able to watch it, and there is no pay-per-view charge attached. A rare bit of boxing convenience, which should not be taken for granted.
What is on the undercard?
Conor Benn will feature in the co-main event against Regis Prograis. It will be Benn’s first fight since his surprise split from longtime promoter Eddie Hearn, and his first outing since avenging the only loss on his professional record.
Benn was beaten by Chris Eubank Jr in April, but he dropped and outpointed his rival in a rematch in November.
The rest of the main card also has plenty packed in:
- Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov, heavyweight
- Conor Benn vs Regis Prograis, 150lb catchweight
- Jeamie Tshikeva (C) vs Richard Riakporhe, British heavyweight title
- Frazer Clarke vs Justis Huni, heavyweight
Subject to change. C indicates champion.
