A familiar mask, apparently with a twist
The latest teaser for Daredevil: Born Again season 2 has done what teasers are designed to do: reveal just enough to start arguments. One detail drawing the most attention is what appears to be a copycat Bullseye, or at least someone dressed to look very much like him.
“Look at this, here we have a Copycat Bullseye,” one fan wrote on Reddit, pointing to the masked sniper seen in the trailer. That was enough to send the speculation machine into motion, with some viewers suggesting the mysterious figure could be someone close to Fisk.
“And it’s Buck Cashman. Look at the eye,” another fan replied.
Not everyone is buying it
The theory has not exactly settled the matter, though. Others have pushed back on the idea, noting that Buck Cashman’s actor, Arty Froushan, is already confirmed to return as Fisk’s right-hand man in season 3. That would make the whole copycat setup feel a little awkward, considering the real Bullseye is not likely to leave an impersonator standing around for long.
For now, the teaser has done its job: it introduced a new visual mystery and gave fans something to dissect frame by frame, as if Marvel had not encouraged this exact behavior before.
